Hi Hello Hi, If you can’t tell already I’m flapping because Christmas is almost here, and if truth be told I’m not quite ready for it yet. In fact I’m a little confused about how it’s come around SO quickly again… I’ve been meaning to share this post with you for a little while, but I’ve been too busy making sure that I’m prepared for Christmas this year. If you haven’t started your shopping yet because you have no idea what to get or because you simply haven’t had time to think about Christmas shopping then fear not. I’m here to make your life (well this part anyway) a little easier and more stress free. I’ve tested and tried a range of fantastic products to bring to you my carefully curated Women’s Christmas gift guide for 2018. So without further ado, and absolutely no promise of no more rambling I think it’s about time we got stuck in. (Please feel free to grab a cuppa, this could be a long one). Let’s start with beauty, whether the person you’re buying for is a girly girl or someone who just needs a bit of TLC then I’ve got some ideas for you…
The perfect lashes: KISS lash Couture collection
I’ve been wearing KISS lashes for quite some time now and have fallen in love with them. They are super light and wearable, they don’t fall off and come in a variety of different styles too. If you look after them you can wear them over and over so you really do get your money’s worth. To read a full review of the KISS lash Couture collection click here. You may notice that the packaging has had a little bit of an upgrade over the last few months too!
The ultimate eyeliner kit: KISS wing it
For those who don’t simply want to wing it, or spend far far too long trying to perfect their eyeliner look, this gift is a no brainer. It’s such a struggle when you’ve managed to successfully apply eyeliner on one eye and then you have to spend twice as long trying to make the other match… At last the struggle is over. KISS have recently brought out a kit that includes; brow pomade, eyeliner brush and eyeliner stencils to allow the user to effortlessly get the eye look they’ve always desired.
Keeping things in place: Lipcote & Browcote
If you’re looking for a gift(s) to save someone both time and effort then look no further. Lipcote and Browcote are designed to take that little bit of re-work out of your day. Browcote is the one product you need in order to keep those brows firmly in place (without looking crispy). Whilst Lipcote is the answer to stop lipstick budging throughout the day or night so there’s no need to worry about lipstick reapplication.
Nailcare: Leighton Denny Modern Bohemia collection
I love a little bit of glitter as much as the next girl, but the glitter polish in this collection is truly something else! For my hand’s I tend to use gel polish. But for my toes (or if I’m feeling too lazy to apply gel) a standard polish does the trick. The Modern Bohemia collection is one of my favourites as the colours are all a little bit sparkly and are just the right colours for Autumn/Winter 2018.
For the skincare obsessed: SENSSE Silicone cleansing brush
I’d been after a silicone cleansing brush for quite some time now, and have been using this one for several weeks. Personally I think that this product is perfect for anyone who is really interested in their skincare regime. This tiny little beauty tool not only helps cleanse your skin but has a massaging option too to help premature aging! Oh and for those who love sparkly things, a glittery beauty bag is included in the set, talk about value for money.
Heaven in a jar: HEMPZ Milk and Honey – Exfoliating Body Whip
I’m not sure who came up with the name for this product but if they were planning on making me hungry then they’ve done the job. Not only does this product leave the users skin feeling extremely smooth and refreshed, but it leaves an incredible smell too! If this guide wasn’t about gifting I’d be tempted to keep this product for myself (I’m still considering it to tell you the truth).
Adding that little bit of sparkle with jewellery
Now it’s time to talk about jewellery, after all it wouldn’t be Christmas if there wasn’t a little sparkle would it? No. I thought so too…
It’s all in the details
When it comes to jewellery it’s all in the detail, I’ve hand selected a few pairs of earrings and a necklace that are not too bold but will create a statement all on their own. I’d love to know what your favourites are, there’s no prize for guessing mine… So there you have it, a few of my favourites from Jewellerybox UK. I love the simplicity of all the pieces and believe that the wearer will be able to get a lot of use from all them as Silver goes with nearly everything. I’ve listed the individual links below:
More than just a wrist piece: ADEXE MAC Petite Gold & Silver
A watch to me is more than something you simply use to tell the time. It’s a piece that has been used for longer than I can remember and a piece that we rely on. We measure what we do, what we’ve done and what we are going to do with time and if that isn’t pretty special then I don’t know what is. The watch you wear is a fashion statement, but it says a lot about your personality from the design, the extra features and how you wear it too. With Christmas approaching (at speed) I can’t think of a far more valuable gift than one that allows you to measure those precious moments you spend with loved ones and others around you. A watch is far more than just a Christmas present. Oh and here’s a code for 15% off SAFFYDIXON15 (valid until Christmas). So there you have it my Christmas gift guide for Women, I hope this post has helped you find something to gift your loved ones (if not yourself).
Thank you for reading,
Love Saff x
