As always there are many items that I’m lusting after and wishing were in my skin care cupboard. I’ve written this post to share with you the bits I’m hoping to buy (or be treated to) when payday and my birthday comes. This post is a brand focus on L’Occitane whose products I’ve been wanting to try for a long time. If you know me, already read my blog or follow my social media accounts then you’ll already understand that I have a thing for body and skin care products. You could even go as far as saying that I’m slightly obsessed… You only have to peek into my bathroom to see this and no this isn’t an invite into my flat.Almond shower scrub £19 200ml RRP
Body scrubs are one of my favourite skin care products because nothing beats that silky smooth feeling after a good exfoliation session. I find using a body scrub very satisfying as they allow you to get a very deep clean, often leaving you feeling cleaner after use than a traditional shower gel. The fact that this shower scrub is enriched with almond’s only makes me want to try it more. After reading the reviews it sounds like the product smells delicious, leaves skin feeling super soft and is not scratchy at all (no-one likes a scratchy scrub).
Shea butter rich Body lotion £24 250ml RRP
Enriched with Shea Butter and promising to instantly nourish dry skin for up to 48 hours this sounds like a must have addition to my moisturiser collection. I’ve got a couple of breaks away where I’m hoping to tan which can often dry out the skin, adding this into my skin care routine could be the answer to peeling skin, or am I being too optimistic? Having been designed for both men and women this could be a perfect gift for any loved one (or a gift to yourself if you need a treat). Again this body lotion is rated really highly, a little is said to go a long way and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy!
Almond shower oil £19 200ml RRP
I love to drink Almond milk, eat Almonds and love them in body products too. There are so many great ways to nourish your body inside and out using them and to me this is a great way (which doesn’t include eating). This shower oil is a different approach to the classic shower gel as it turns from an oil to a foam when it comes into contact with water. After reading the reviews online for this product as I’m a bit of a researcher when it comes to buying products, it is clear that the shower oil is rated highly and is said to leave the skin feeling really moisturised after use rather than dry. This tends to be a problem with a lot of foaming washes as they do tend to dry out the skin.
Almond milk concentrate £42 200ml RRP
Of all the products on my wish list this one is the most expensive of them all. The purpose of the Almond milk concentrate is to prevent the skin from losing its firmness and It can be used in multiple ways. One way is massaging the skin. It’s suggested that this product can be used to massage the Buttock, Stomach, Waist and Arms so really is one for the whole body! Many users of this product have said that they wished they had known about it sooner and that after use they felt like they had been at a spa (but for a lot less).
So there you have it, my Summer skin care wish list focused on L’Occitane products. You can shop this post by following the links above or by clicking the images in the ‘Shop the post’ section below.
